What We Do
Children thrive when their families thrive. TRANSFORMA's Family Center exists because many households in our community face multiple vulnerabilities—migration hardship, economic instability, academic gaps, and exposure to violence. Strengthening families is the most effective way to protect children and prevent future harm.

Our approach is wrap-around and relational: home visits, emotional support, tutoring, parenting formation, food security, crisis prevention, and practical care. Every intervention strengthens both the child and the system around them.
The goal is a safe, stable, and resilient family environment where every child can grow. Our Family Center offers Christ-centered Wraparound Services, Regenerative Communities, and Innovative Education for:

We do this through our:
Feeding Program
Our Weekly Feeding Program ensures that vulnerable families, immigrants, and refugee children receive essential, nutritious food support. This initiative addresses immediate hunger while fostering community care.
Child Sponsorship
The Child Sponsorship Program provides a monthly grocery bag with basic goods directly to a child’s home, ensuring food security and meeting individual needs such as educational support or medical assistance. Sponsors help create stability and hope for each child’s future.
Solidarity Store & Point Exchange Program
The Solidarity Store offers an incentive-based, dignity-restoring program for families to receive essential goods, hygiene products, vitamins, and clothing in exchange for participation in our programs.
Youth Programs for Migrants & Refugees
Our Girls Club and Teens Club create safe spaces for migrant and refugee youth to build identity, leadership skills, and community. These programs focus on prevention, empowerment, and fostering future opportunities.
​Family Support & Parenting Programs
Our Parenting Without Violence Training and Family Life Workshops equip families with practical tools and biblical guidance to foster healthy, safe home environments—strengthening families and breaking cycles of violence.
Trauma Healing & Counseling
We offer Trauma Healing Programs and access to Psychology & Counseling Services to help individuals and families process past wounds, find emotional resilience, and experience Christ-centered restoration.
Mental Health & Wellbeing Initiatives
Through Wellbeing Programs, we promote mental health, emotional care, and resilience for those facing displacement, poverty, or violence—offering holistic support rooted in faith and community.
Education & Learning Resources
Our Learning Resource Center provides tutoring, literacy support, and vocational tools, empowering children and families to overcome educational barriers and build a sustainable future.
Childcare & Early Childhood Support
We walk alongside single and young mothers by providing free childcare during our training programs, allowing them flexibility to grow and thrive. In addition, we offer essential resources like formula, diapers, and personalized counseling—ensuring both mother and child have the support they need for a healthy, stable future.
