THE NEED

Families living in these highly vulnerable communities, like the humanitarian corridor we serve, face a unique combination of challenges that go far beyond financial poverty. Poverty is a cycle shaped by broken systems, fractured relationships, and decades of unmet basic needs.
When access to safety, education, stable work, and opportunity is limited, families become trapped in survival mode—not because they lack ability, but because the barriers around them are overwhelming and interconnected.

Below are some of the key challenges affecting the community we serve:
Human Rights Violations
Domestic Violence against women and children
Limited Access to Healthcare
Under-Education lowering access to opportunities
Lack of Safe and Dignified Job Opportunities
Crime, Violence and No Security
Housing Shortage and Overcrowding
Poverty and Social Vulnerability
Forced Migrations and Instability
OUR APPROACH
Transform poverty. Transform trauma. Build regenerative communities.

TRANSFORMA’s model is built to create long-term stability—not dependency. We meet real needs in ways that build dignity, strengthen agency, and invite co-responsibility. Our work is integrated, relational, and designed to lead families toward holistic sustainable development.

What makes our model different is our vision of regenerative community—restoring original design, strengthening relationships, and creating environments where people grow, contribute, and belong. This approach has been vetted through our Founder, Vanessa Valenzuela's, postgraduate studies in Social Innovation and Global Leadership at the United Nations' University for Peace Centre for Executive Education, where TRANSFORMA was recognized as exemplifying regenerative leadership principles in practice.

We also know that behind every social challenge facing the most vulnerable lies a common root: trauma and broken relationships. That’s why our work is guided by original frameworks that integrate biblical values with neuroscience-based strategies designed to transform trauma. We don’t just inform people about trauma—we help them heal, rebuild, and move forward with resilience.

Through our reward-based, dignity-producing model, participants invest in their own growth, practice responsibility, and develop the habits that lead to long-term change. This co-responsibility strengthens families and rebuilds community from the inside out—helping individuals move from crisis → stability → transformation, and allowing entire communities to flourish across generations.

1
Social Inclusion & Formation
Belong. Heal. Become.
We begin by restoring what poverty, trauma, and forced migration often fracture—identity, relationships, safety, and hope. Through relational support, biblical values formation, and community belonging, participants rediscover their worth and step into a supportive, regenerative environment where healing can begin.
2
Skills for Work & Income
Build capacity. Break cycles. Thrive.
Stability grows when people gain the skills, confidence, and tools to provide for their families.
We train participants in vocational skills, digital competencies, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship—equipping them to create long-term economic security.
3
Leadership & Community Impact
Lead. Contribute. Multiply change.
Transformation becomes sustainable when participants become leaders who strengthen others. We guide individuals to serve, mentor, and influence their community—turning personal growth into collective impact and helping regenerative community take root for future generations.
